What is Phabricator?[edit | edit source]

Phabricator is a software used inside the KDE community to manage the tickets for their projects. WikiToLearn is a proud member of the KDE community, and as such it uses their web apps; examples include http://notes.kde.org and obviously Phabricator.

KDE Identity[edit | edit source]

In order to join our ticketing system, report a bug or become a developer, you need a KDE Identity account that enables to you to access all the resources hosted by KDE, such as Notes or Phabricator. You can do so with an unique account, and it's all free!

Register[edit | edit source]

It is very easy to register an account! Just go to https://identity.kde.org/index.php?r=registration/index and follow the instructions.

Configure[edit | edit source]

Don't forget to configure all your informations like the avatar and personal.

Join Phabricator[edit | edit source]

Login[edit | edit source]

Go on https://phabricator.kde.org/auth/start/?next=%2F to login on Phabricator.

Install the Dashboard[edit | edit source]

What is the dashboard? Good question! Phabricator is used with all the projects of KDE so can be confusing to track all the tickets that you want. The dashboard is a view already configured with specific informations and WikiToLearn have own. Go to https://phabricator.kde.org/dashboard/install/17/ and click 'Install Dashboard'.

Use the Dashboard[edit | edit source]

You have done everything now! Go on the homepage as logged user of Phabricator on https://phabricator.kde.org/ and you can see the dashboard in action!

WikiToLearn subprojects[edit | edit source]

WikiToLearn is an amazing community with many projects to get a perfect service to the users and contributors like you but to manage every task we need specific projects. Every projects have an individual reference and project manager that, well do their job in that project. In that link https://phabricator.kde.org/project/subprojects/39/ (available also in the dashboard) you can see all the subprojects and the milestones.

Go around the subprojects to find what the community are working on and join us!
